Oktoberfest 2021: Wales’ Biggest German Beer Festival Comes To Bute Park

Get your steins at the ready- Oktoberfest is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever!

Wales’ biggest German beer festival is set to return on October 1st under a circus-style big-top tent in Cardiff’s Bute Park.

Get ready to be transported to Munich, as the venue is to be adorned with Bavarian-style decor and traditional fancy dress is encouraged- so make sure to dust off your dirndls and lederhosens! Independent street traders will be serving a range of traditional German beers and food and, in the spirit of Oktoberfest, it’ll all be soundtracked by an Oompah band.

The event will be Covid-secure, with a one-way system in place, pre-booked tables, contactless payments and on-site sanitation stations to minimise any risk of transmission. After sixteen months of lockdown, we’re all craving a festival. What better way to spend your first big-day-out post-Covid than at the biggest beer festival in the country?
