These five cheap and easy student meals will keep you going through every big day of lectures (or even a night out!) on even the tightest budgets- no messing around, no fuss, no random ingredients you’ll never use again. Spaghetti Bolognese

This staple dish can be made with raw ingredients almost as easily as it can be from a jar! Perfect for bulk-cooking and keeping in the freezer for those nights you just can’t be bothered to cook, this recipe is built for rich taste on a low budget. Chilli Con Carne

Another home staple which uses primarily staple ingredients you’re likely to already have in your kitchen cupboards. Again, perfect for batch cooking and adjusting to a vegan diet- and equally as delicious. Recipe here:

Easily made with those leftover tortillas from fajitas or lunch-wraps. Choosing the filling for your quesadillas is really the hardest part- the possibilities are endless! Stir Fry
